這幾天跟國中同學碰面,其中有一個同學現在在某家生技公司任職。他們自己有醫學美容
保養品,雖然小有名氣,但是比較像是二線的,在連鎖藥妝店裡不會有自己一整面的品牌
牆,只是大概占兩三排架子或是只有紙架的那種程度。
同學說他們那個圈子的定價策略(尤其是走那種強勢連鎖藥妝通路的品牌)有些把產品成本
壓很低,甚至低到15%,因為通路就會吃掉大部分的利潤,還要算廣告、員工什麼的,所
以價格一定要去做衡量,但是有時也會因為賣不動,要刺激買氣或是配合通路活動,還要
再祭出殺到見骨的折扣。
我想跟大家討論的是,雖然保養品的廣告行銷與通路費用占售價的一大半並不是什麼秘密
,但很多保養品都是先把定價抬高,動不動就再來買一送一或是打個3.5折,對於這個現
象大家都是怎麼看的呢?這樣對品牌真的是好的嗎?(雖然我同學的待遇還不錯,我自己
也屯不少醫美品牌的打折貨就是了啦><,感覺一個願打一個願挨,各得其利就好?)
