版上似乎有些版友對於澱粉的攝取還有一些疑惑
就和大家分享到底澱粉(碳水化合物)對於脂肪代謝扮演怎樣的角色

正常脂肪要代謝是透過beta-oxidation產生acetyl-CoA後再進入TCA cycle
經電子傳遞鍊後得到ATP
以16C的palmitate(棕梠酸)為例
在正常有碳水化合物的前提下 棕梠酸代謝成acetyl-CoA後再進入TCA cycle
總共可獲得106ATP
但是在缺乏碳水化合物的情況下
TCA cycle的中間產物不足 (主要是缺乏oxaloacetate)
因此只能將多餘的acetyl-CoA合成ketobody
得到的能量只有脂肪氧化時的26ATP
所以對身體來說是很不經濟的
除非必要是不會輕易走KETOGENESIS
身體會想辦法補足TCA CYCLE的中間產物
轉而從胺基酸分解來補充
如aspartate轉胺為oxaloacetate, glutamate轉胺為alpha-ketoglutarate
因此脂肪分解效率相對於充足碳水化合物時來的差
所以才說碳水化合物有幫助脂肪燃燒的作用
因為碳水化合物提供充沛的TCA中間代謝物維持順暢的能量產生
而身體傾向走ketogenesis主要有兩點
1.細胞內有大量acetyl-CoA
2.TCA cycle的中間代謝物缺乏
通常在中長期飢餓的時候才會發生
大量的acetyl-CoA會產生負回饋抑制beta-oxidation
一邊形成酮體消耗過多acetyl-CoA
一邊想辦法生合成TCA cycle的中間代謝物
有了中間代謝物立刻走向TCA cycle
慢慢消耗acetyl-CoA直到正常比例
若繼續缺乏TCA cycle中間代謝物 則上述步驟再重複一次
結論:
若不攝取充足的碳水化合物
不但可能分解肌肉為了要產生TCA cycle的中間代謝物
甚至還抑制會脂肪代謝
