討人厭的脂肪,其實並非一無是處,根據美國的研究竟發現,脂肪細胞能在身體遭到
病菌入侵時,大量釋放抗菌胜太,進而預防身體遭受病菌感染!
脂肪細胞能釋出大量抗菌胜太 保護身體
此研究來自美國加州聖地亞哥大學醫學院皮膚科,研究人員讓白老鼠暴露在大量的金
黃葡萄球菌下,嘗試讓老鼠受到感染,而金黃葡萄球菌會引發感染蜂窩性組織炎。
另研究人員感到驚訝的是,當白老鼠受感染才幾小時以內,脂肪細胞就會大量釋放抗
菌胜太,而抗菌胜太是先天性免疫系統,用來抵抗細菌、病毒、微生物的重要武器。
研究人員指出,脂肪細胞能夠釋出的抗菌胜太數量,與普遍被認為擔任抵禦病菌要角
的巨噬細胞與白血球,竟幾乎同等,可見脂肪細胞能達到保護人體的作用。
