為了比較有氧運動(如慢跑)和抗阻力訓練(如舉重)的減肥效果,美國杜克大學醫學中心的
研究人員進行了為期8個月的研究,參與調查的人都超重且不愛運動,年齡在18~70歲之間
。其中,進行有氧運動的人每週慢跑20公里,屬於中等強度運動;而參加抗阻力訓練的人
每週舉重3次、每次3遍,每遍8~12次。
然後,研究人員檢測這些人的腹部脂肪和器官間脂肪量的變化情況。結果發現,慢跑等有
氧運動能顯著減少腹部脂肪,並能改善由此帶來的心臟病和糖尿病的風險因素。而舉重就
沒有這樣的效果,但卻能夠增強力量和減輕體重。因此,如果要減肥,擺脫腹部贅肉,有
氧運動是更好的選擇。
