〔國際新聞中心/綜合報導〕乍聽之下,「沒有麵包的雞肉三明治」,應該是減肥的好選
擇,不過肯德基首推的無麵包漢堡,熱量之高,可能會讓原本想避開澱粉的消費者退避三
舍;而營養專家看過宣傳照片後也都搖頭不已,因為全美人口已有三分之二的人超重,這
款肥膩的新產品實在是讓人不敢恭維。
將於十二日在美國開賣的「小雞變大包」(Double Down),以兩片炸雞取代傳統漢堡麵
包,夾兩片培根、兩片起司,再淋上美乃滋,雖肯德基堅稱一個熱量僅五百四十大卡,但
想也知道,兩片炸雞加上培根熱量一定不低,據報導,「小雞變大包」熱量足足有一千兩
百二十八大卡,約等於兩份內含培根、煎蛋、香腸等高熱量食物的英式早餐,或是八個甜
甜圈,吃一個,就等於吃下成年男性每天所需的一半熱量。
更誇張的是,吃一個「小雞變大包」,就會吃下一千三百八十毫克的鹽與三十二克的脂肪
,其中包括十克的飽和脂肪,對身體的負擔非常的大,難怪耶魯大學路德食物政策與肥胖
中心的主任布朗尼爾會形容,「小雞變大包」根本就是「鹽彈」,就連紐約客也有人不太
能接受這種「噁心」的食物,三十一歲的學生密契爾說:「我不覺得這很健康,我是說,
麵包可能不健康,但那是雞與培根,很多肉,我不覺得好。」
