運動導致體重上升?家人對照組 - 減肥

半個月前家裡買了一台滑步機
全家人都有踩,與此同時飲食都保持節制
(吃飯有計算卡路里)
但體重卻出現了很大的差異
想請問各位如何解釋呢?
結果
爸爸:一天滑1,000卡,目前瘦3公斤
(53歲,身高168,體重81→78)
媽媽:一天滑約350卡,目前重1.5公斤
(52歲,身高163,體重61→62.5)
妹妹:兩天一滑,每次約550卡,目前重3公斤
(26歲,身高162,體重55→58)
雖然說是因肌肉增加造成體重上升
可是為何爸爸已經瘦三公斤
而媽媽運動量相較大
重的公斤數也只有妹妹的一半
我唯一能想到的解釋只有
爸爸以前曾熱愛登山,雖已久沒運動,但肌肉還是比從來不太運動的妹妹多,所以當妹妹一運動後,肌肉的重量就會更顯著(因為以前都是肥肉,現在腿部肌肉有變的較明顯)
不知道是否正確?或有其他更正確的解釋?
另外因為妹和媽平常很少運動
難得想開始藉由運動減肥卻持續受挫
想請問應如何跟他們解釋&激勵他們持之以恆?否則兩人似乎都開始想改採吃更少而不運動的方式以求立竿見影了
