Turbulence Training的作者Craig Ballantyne說「這個動作強迫背部進到圓形的姿勢(Rounded Position)並壓縮你的脊椎」,這會導致椎間盤突出。此外,這個動作並沒有使用到核心或是穩定肌群,任何在這個動作上得到的益處將無法轉換成實際的運動表現上
