活動的能量來源來自於 有氧能量系統(aerobic system)
但是屬於安靜的有氧能量系統
人體處於安靜狀態時
因為心肺系統能夠供應充足的氧氣給肌肉細胞使用
所以能量主要是由有氧系統提供
而且無論是醣元或脂肪均可以被用作供能的燃料
在安靜的情況下約有三分之二的能量是來自脂肪的代謝
另外的三分之一則是來自醣元的有氧醣酵解。
我所謂的沒有模糊的空間是指

非使用ATP-PC無氧能量系統
非有氧區間有氧能量系統
非乳酸系統

那就順便介紹一下這有氧的能量機轉好了
在氧氣充足的情況下,
醣可以被完全氧化成二氧化碳(CO2)和水(H2O),
並產生ATP,整個步驟要用上一些氧氣(O2)。
換句話說,在有氧系統運作之下,若以醣作為燃料,
在安靜的時候,這可用上10至15分鐘的時間,
但從事劇烈運動的時候,則可能只是1分鐘以內的事罷了。
有氧系統還可以用脂肪(fats)及蛋白質(proteins)作為燃料來重新合成ATP。
在有氧系統運作之下,若以脂肪作為燃料,要產生同量的ATP,
便要比用醣作為燃料時消耗多約15%的氧氣了。
至於蛋白質方面,
一般認為除非身體是處於飢荒、醣消耗殆盡或非比尋常的耐力項目,
否則蛋白質對提供能量作為肌肉活動的貢獻只是微不足道。
『在安靜及大部分的體育活動中,
醣元和脂肪仍然是主要提供能量以重新合成ATP的燃料。』
由於有氧系統能夠在大量合成ATP之餘而不會產生導致疲勞的代謝產物,
所以是人體處於安靜狀態時供能系統的最佳選擇,
對於長時間的耐力性項目(如馬拉松長跑)
有氧系統因為能夠用上醣和脂肪作為燃料,
所以亦只有它可以供應充足的能量作這類活動之用。

活動的能量來源來自於 有氧能量系統(aerobic system)

因為心肺系統能夠供應充足的氧氣給肌肉細胞使用
